Lena Trapp
Lena Trapp is a Gothenburg-based visual artist working primarily with installation, sculpture and animation. Her conceptually driven practice explores the blurred boundaries between the visible and the unseen, often through immersive environments where the physical and virtual dissolve.
She works with themes such as memory, transformation, and human existence in relation to time, perception, and ecological systems. Using methods like casting and combining materials such as textiles, wood, and clay with digital tools like 3D animation and VR/AR, Trapp creates poetic, speculative spaces informed by natural forms, scientific phenomena, queer theory, and philosophical inquiry
