If you’re interested in making your own jewelry or gift for the one you love, join us for a fun and creative workshop! This workshop is perfect for beginners who doesn’t have experience of working with metal. It will give you a basic understanding of aluminum etching and silversmith knowledge of sawing and filing. During the workshop you will first test etching technique with few samples, once you have a fully understanding of the technique, you can design and make your own pattern and transform it into jewelry. Every one get to bring one kind of jewelry back home, for example a pair of earring or a pendant. I'll guide you step by step from idea sketch to finished product. Course will be hold in English.

Shiyao Sun is a jewelry and craft artist. She studied at HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg, and Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, focusing on jewelry and body-related practices. She is experienced in silversmithing and material experiment.
