The CNC is a powerful tool for many needs, learn how to operate our desktop CNC mill and be able to run it independently.

Over the course of two weekends we run through how to operate the CNC mill and cover, software, file prep, material selection, tool selection, clamping of stock and how to safely operate the machine. There is a small test on the last day to get the license to operate the machine on your own. The mill is a small shopbot that sits down in the basement of the electro department with a cutting surface of approx 40x60cm. It cuts wood, mdf and foams, it is not currently set up to mill metals. There is the ability to cut 3D files of limited thickness. The course will be held in english.
